Californians Now Qualify For Health Insurance Premium Reduction

How to reduce health insurance premium.

Health insurance premiums have increased for 2021, but Californians can now get some reliefs in lowering their health insurance premiums under the current state law that caps an individual's annual health insurance premium spending. The 4th line  on the above chart shows the maximum spending on health insurance, as a percentage of income.  Any amount exceeding that maximum will be subsidized by the state government.  If you live in California and you want to find out if you qualify for the premium reduction,  click here to use the subsidy calculator
